Psalm 1 SOLD

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.

I declare the Word of God over my life today, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me(Jesus) and drink. Whoever believes in Me (Jesus), as scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.”

Psalm 36 SOLD

Your steadfast love extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; your judgments are like the great deep; man and beast you save, O LORD. How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light. Oh, continue your steadfast love to those who know you,
and your righteousness to the upright of heart!

Psalm 46 SOLD

God is our fortress. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.
Selah

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns. The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
Selah

Come, behold the works of the LORD, how he has brought desolations on the earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the chariots with fire. “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.

Psalm 91 SOLD

“He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; “

The imagery of feathers is repeated in the painting and again the hands are used to emphasize the personal relationship shared with Christ, which leads to heaven. The color palette is bright to reflect the glory and brightness of heaven coming down on earth.

“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, I will rescue him;  I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.   He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”

Matthew 11:28-30 SOLD

This Scripture Ink is inspired by the Easter 2011 sermon at Beltway Park Church in Abilene, Texas. A key verse was Matthew 11:28-30:

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

In the scripture Inks there is often a repeating theme of hands to connect it with humanity and specific words are emphasized often to illustrate the hope and future Christians have. The color palette is specifically chosen to emphasize the presence of evil and the need for rescue. As five is the number associated with grace you will notice that many hands in the painting.
